Service Ministry

Men's Club
The Queen of All Saints men’s organization provides outlets for the service, spiritual and social dimensions of the men of the parish. The organization and its members participate in the life of the church, are involved in the projects and ministries of the parish, and provide physical, emotional, spiritual and financial resources where and when they are needed. Members are active family men – committed partners, loving sons and devoted fathers.
The organization reaches out to the community, the archdiocese and to society at large through service that reflects our role as disciples of Christ. Their values are simple and enduring:
Committed to Christ, our families and the community
Generous in spirit and deed
Willing to work and guaranteed to have fun
Open and welcoming to all men of the parish.
Our meetings are the first Thursday of every month in the Holy Name room at 8pm.

Ministry of Care - Homebound Ministry
WHAT IS THE MINISTRY OF CARE?
People caring and sharing in a homebound prayer relationship in which Holy Communion is brought to the handicapped, ill and elderly. This ministry gives prayerful support to the parish spirituality and also links the parish life to the homebound. It is a ministry of healing for both the minister and those ministered to.
In general, this ministry is a calling to witness and share the Gospel of God to others in a loving, caring, patient and understanding way. It means being in touch with ourselves and sharing ourselves with others through God.
WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE?
- To bring Holy Communion to the homebound in our community and Peterson Park Care Center
- To give prayerful support to the parish spiritually by being the link between parish life and the homebound faith community.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BECOME A MINISTER?
Anyone baptized and confirmed Catholic who is 18 years or older.
You will be required a attend a series of training sessions approved by the Archdiocese of Chicago.
If you are interested in this Ministry
or you know somebody who is homebound, contact

Ministry of Care - Hospital Ministry
An important Corporal Work of Mercy is visiting those who are sick. Because
of our baptismal calling, every Christian must be
concerned with those who suffer from physical,
spiritual, or mental illness. Every week,
a member of the parish pastoral staff makes an effort to get
to the hospitals to anoint those in need. He
is also available, along with other priests
in the rectory, for anointings in the home.
For more information, please contact the rectory.
