Ministry of Praise - Partners In Prayer
Mission Statement: The Partners in Prayer ministry supplements the spiritual and social needs of parish family members with all types of disabilities, their families and friends.

Participants: In addition to individuals with disabilities, their families and friends, other parishioners of any age serve as support members of this ministry. The ministry meets one Saturday per month from September through May. The gathering begins with the sharing of the Eucharist around the dining room table and concludes with a buffet lunch and social time.

Training: There is no training involved; only the desire to provide friendship is required.

Money Counters
The volunteer "Money Counters" meet every Sunday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am to count the Sunday collections. The number of Sundays each month a money counter may be needed depends on the total number of volunteers. This is a small but needed task in our parish, one that does allow for a little bit of socializing and coffee as well.

Over 50 Club
The Over 50 Club is primarily a social organization for people over the age of fifty. The club usually meets on the Second Friday of every month from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the cafeteria of the school. The Over 50 Club begins each meeting with a short prayer. The president then shares important information about upcoming social activities (plays, overnight trips, musicals, etc.) and the meeting ends with a financial report read by the treasurer. Lunch, or a snack, is served at each gathering. The group usually finishes the meeting playing an hour of bingo. The club provides a great opportunity for people to come together and have a good time! The organization is also involved in the parish activities and volunteers from the club help out at special functions.
