Invest in Kids Act

Save My Scholarship! There is an issue pending at the Illinois State Capitol that is urgent for over 9,000 children attending non-public schools with an Invest in Kids Tuition Tax Credit Scholarship. Many of these scholarship recipients attend Catholic schools.

Our bishops have a letter asking for your assistance in contacting our elected officials and asking them to continue the tax credit scholarship program. If the General Assembly in Springfield does not act to extend the program during its upcoming session in late October, the program will end. Many of these children from lower income families will have to disrupt their education and will not be able to attend the school of their parent’s choice next school year.
