Regular readers of this page in our weekly bulletin know that we always present an honest assessment of our parish finances, and our goals for our shared future.
Thanksgiving is only a month away, a good time for everyone to carefully consider what we have read and heard and then take an honest look at how our lives have been blessed by God and how we might repay those blessings with generosity to our parish and the many ministries through which we help and assist each other.
In addition to the continued support of the wide range of ministries in our parish life, we especially ask everyone to consider the need to replenish our savings to repay the costs of our recent basilica ceiling and bell tower projects, both of which were unexpected yet very necessary capital needs to maintain our magnificent basilica in which we worship. We know you have also noticed the other extensive repairs we have made and continue to make to our basilica.
Throughout the wonderful history of our parish there has been an uninterrupted series of very positive responses to calls for support. We know that the challenges we face today will be met with the same success that our predecessors in this parish achieved!
Whatever your decision, please know that we are always grateful for your full participation in the stewardship of our parish life - time, talent and treasure - including:
our attendance at Mass,
our participation in our many parish liturgical, educational and social ministries, and
our financial support.
Thank you for all you do for our parish and please know that you are always welcome here!
