We are in need of many new ministers to distribute Holy Communion to the people of God. Jesus took, blessed and broke bread at the Last Supper. He feeds us who hunger with his Body and Blood. Just as he instructed his apostles to do the same, so the Church entrusts the Body and Blood of Christ to ministers, who then give them to the faithful.
Eucharistic ministers are not scheduled. You simply sign up for a station at whatever Mass you happen to be attending. This ministry is open to all baptized Catholics in good standing, high school age and older. You need to attend one session for training and formation to get started. There are three scheduled:
Tuesday, October 17th, 4:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 19th, 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 21st, 11:30 a.m.
You only need to attend one training session. Please consider serving in this important Eucharistic Ministry. If there are any questions, please contact Paul at [email protected].
