Grief is the experience of loss. As human beings we form attachments, and when these attachments end or are broken we may feel shock, sadness, loneliness, anger, guilt or betrayal. These feelings are normal, a part of human existence, yet so painful. We all grieve in our own personal way, but we need not grieve alone. Healing is an active process that requires emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual energy. Others who are grieving are on a similar journey, and we can all be uplifted by journeying together. We are grace-filled when we open ourselves to the support of fellow travelers.
