The Women Who Made Christ - Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 9 am in the Holy Name Room
The gospel of Matthew begins describing the long lineage of Jesus, moving back to Abraham. Out of the 42 generations named, only 5 are women: Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba, & Mary. These women's stories give us a guide to how Jesus understood himself and his ministry. This advent season we will be diving into the stories of these women; what they tell us about Christ; and how we can relate to each one of them.
