As Mass attendance continues to increase, we are in need of many new ministers to distribute Holy Communion to the people of God. Jesus took, blessed and broke bread at the Last Supper. He feeds us who hunger with his Body and Blood. Just as he instructed his apostles to do the same, so the Church entrusts the Body and Blood of Christ to ministers, who then give them to the faithful.
Eucharistic ministers are not scheduled. You simply sign up for a station at whatever Mass you happen to be attending. This ministry is open to all baptized Catholics in good standing, high school age and
older.
To get started, you need to attend one of the training and formation sessions below. Choose from one of the following:
Tuesday, October 11th, 4:00pm
Thursday, October 13th, 7:00pm, or
Saturday, October 15th, 11:15am.
Again, you only need to attend one training session. Please consider serving in this important ministry. If you have questions, please contact Paul at [email protected].
