Fr. Simon's Letter - December 31, 2023 - Queen of All Saints

When he was elected to his post as the second Secretary General of the United Nations, Dag Hammarskjöld wrote in his journal, "For all that has been, THANKS, for all that is to be, YES!"

It was this faith and conviction that sustained him in the years ahead.

As we begin another calendar year, I wish you

a year of growth and fulfilment,

a year of strength and courage to embrace the will of God,

and a year of God’s favor upon you and yours,

so that each morning may awaken you with gratitude for every blessing and each evening fill you with hope to trust God’s plan.
