The end of summer means the start of a big increase in our use of the parish lawn, from children playing at recess, football and soccer practice and games, parish events (like our Outdoor Mass & Oktoberfest!) and folks just generally enjoying the open space that was so generously set aside for us by our parish founders.
Just a gentle reminder that the lawn is primarily intended for free-range children and not dogs. Dogs should be leashed whenever people are on the lawn, and even then should be kept a respectful distance from those who might have allergies or other discomfort around animals.
And it goes without saying - please clean up after your pets as you would on your own front lawn!
