As we look ahead to the beginning of our parish year, we remind ourselves of how fortunate we are to be a part of a vibrant parish. Our parish is blessed with many ministries through which we reach out and serve each other, including those listed here on our website and in our annual financial statement:
There are actually more ministries than these listed, since our parishioners are continuously coming up with new ideas to serve others.
All members of the church are called to service as disciples of Christ. Charity begins at home, then to the community, the parish, at work and in the world.
Our financial resources are an important part of our ability to support these ministries. Our ability to have all these ministries is also a testament to the stewardship shown by our parishioners, a grateful return of the gifts they have been given—in the service of others.
Please keep this in mind when you consider your level of support for our parish.
Sharing Talent Stewardship involves sharing talent.
Recognizing that God has given each individual unique skills and talents so that together we can do the work of our Lord, we strive to share our own talents and to encourage and welcome others to also use their talents to participate in the mission and ministry of the church.
