The ‘Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship Program’ has been eliminated by our leaders in Springfield. As a result of this highly successful program, almost 3,000 children in Catholic schools in Chicago have been denied support to pursue education in a Catholic school. This school year, 2023-2024, 19 students from QAS School received almost $114,000 in tuition assistance through this program. Thank you to the many generous parishioners and others who contributed to the Tax Credit Scholarships.
While the TCS program is ending, our commitment to our students is not. As we look to the next school year, the Archdiocese of Chicago through the Catholic School Scholarship program is offering vital need-based financial assistance to families committed to a Catholic education. Our schools continue to provide students with the academic and spiritual development necessary to live faithful and successful lives; we strive to continue to keep all students in our school who desire the excellent faith-based education provided at Queen of All Saints.
We appeal to the many generous parishioners to support the cause of Catholic education. Please visit archchicago.org/scholarships to make an online gift to Queen of All Saints school in the Archdiocese of Chicago. All donations are tax-deductible. Gifts designated for Queen of All Saints School will be used exclusively for the students of our school. Should there be excess monies collected, they will remain to support students of Queen of All Saints in the future.
Some may want to contribute directly to QAS School. You may do so, if you choose. However, since the Archdiocese has the infrastructure in place for the application and granting of these scholarships, we highly recommend that you send in your donations to the Archdiocese of Chicago. Please do not hesitate to contact either of us, if you have questions.
Please help keep faith-based education accessible!
